NEVER INSURE WITH THEM

I took a bond with ABSA in November 2023. I decided to keep the insurance with them as as well. I had my first claim at the beginning of June 2024. The plumber came out, the assessor came out almost 3 weeks ago and I have heard nothing. My bathroom is a mess and smelling mouldy. I had guests and at my house and the bathroom was in this state. If I'm going to pay back almost 3 times the amount of my home loan amount in interest and other fees, then I would think I would get better service. I will be moving my bond and insurance to another home loan company who cares about their partners. As an insurance broker, I have never ever seen this type of service.
