MYSTERIOUS R500 increase on Premiums!!!

Woooow i didn't know that calling the insurance company that religiously deducts money from MY BANK account can turn into such a hide and seek experience. Today the 27th September i called ABSA Idirect Insurance to query about mysterious increase of almost R500 on my premiums on my car and household insurance without no notice whatsoever since end of August 2023 will turn into an adventure that not only cost me money to stay on the line for 40 minutes WITHOUT any assistance.

On the first call when i eventually reached an agent after 20 minutes and i told him the reason for my call he abruptly ended the call claiming he can't hear me all of a sudden. The second call also after being put on hold for 15 minutes the agent claimed he is redirecting my call to the relevant department, guess what he **** again and now at 20 minutes in the call I'm still listening to music.

I hope my query will be attended to on this platform, PLEASE EXPLAIN TO ME WHY MY PREMIUMS INCREASED TO R2500 FROM END OF AUGUST 2023.

You are taking advantage of having access to our bank accounts and this practice cannot be promoted. I'm hanging up after wasting my time and money waiting for your lying agents!!
