My garage door opener stopped working

My garage door opener stopped working. The installer who came to assess the problem reported that the electrical components are damaged and he ascribed it to loadshedding. I contacted Absa on 6 December. I received feedback on the 8th requesting photos of the unit, which I submitted on the 9th. I contacted them just now and after a 15+minute call was told the matter has been 'forwarded' for evaluation and I will get feedback 'during the course of the week' ... this smacks of inefficiency
