MOST TERRIBLE AND IRRESPONSIBLE INSURANCE COMPANY IN THE WORLD

This is the mail which I sent to ABSA HOME INSURANCE

Hi I am extremely disappointed with the service I am having from ABSA home Insurance. 2 weeks back I registered a claim for the water coming through the roof after the storm in Cape Town. I MENTIONED CLEARLY OVER PHONE THAT THE WATER IS VERY NEAR TO THE ELECTRICITY AS THE WATER WAS COMING DOWN FROM ONE OF THE DOWNLIGHTER IN THE LIVING AREA AND ALSO IN THE GARAGE. I REQUESTED THEM TO PUT THE CLAIM AS URGENT. I AM CURRENTLY LIVING IN A HOUSE WHICH CAN BURN ANYTIME. DURING RAIN I HAVE TO STAY SWITCHING ALL THE LIGHTS OFF. The service provider took more than a week to come. After he visited me last week I Phoned ABSA on LAST Tue. they mentioned they are requesting the service provider to urgently upload the report. Wednesday again I called again and your agent mentioned she is calling the service provider and at 2 PM she is going to give me a call. That phone call never came. Thursday, i.e. this morning I called them again. The first agent mentioned she is again following up and if nothing is uploaded by 10 AM then she is going to call me back. Fortunately she did call back and then I asked her if I can use my own repairer to fix the problem and send ABSA the photos and the invoice. She agreed (can be verified via the recording). I mentioned clearly that I need an email from her regarding this. I didn't receive any email so I called back. Another agent picked up and said she cannot do anything. She mentioned that she will wait till 2 PM and give me a call back. That again didn't happen. Please verify the voice recordings regarding my complaint ( I spent nearly 100 mins of my airtime for this) and check if I have put any false allegation here. This afternoon I received a sms from ABSA stating that they are putting my claim on hold due to unrest !!!!!! MY QUESTION IS IF THERE IS A FIRE FROM THE WATER OR ANY OTHER ACCIDENT WHO IS GOING TO TAKE THE RESPONSIBILITY?????I HAVE MY SON, A MINOR, STAYING WITH ME. PLEASE PLEASE BE A BIT RESPONSIBLE AND DON'T PLAY WITH PEOPLE'S LIFE. AWAITING A PROMPT REPLY Thank you Kind regards Amlan***)
