LONG DOES IT TAKE TO FINALIZE A CLAIM

I am not someone who complains about poor service . Got into an accident on Friday (01/11/2024), I submitted my claim same day on the app, received a claim/reference number and received communication that assessor will be appointed to assess my car 04/11/2024 Monday . The assessor was very quick ,on the same week he called me and told me that my was has been written off ,and he said an agent/ consultant from Absa will call me . I haven’t received any call from Absa till today. On the 11th I called , and mind you , you have to hold for like 40 minutes to an hour before you can speak to a consultant , I was advised that my claim can only be processed after I make my premium payment on the 25th of November . I then agreed that they can debit my premium on the 14th which it went through .I was told that once I make payment my claim will be finalized since it’s a written off car. Now I have been sent from one department to another , no communication whatsoever . HOW LONG DOES IT TAKE TO FINALIZE A CLAIM ?
