Irate client - Absa Insurance Company Home Building division SUCKS !!!

Absa Insurance Company especially Home Building division SUCKS when it comes to claiming at ones property. On the 21st of October, Port Elizabeth experienced a storm that was internationally televised. I had a claim for my carport that was damaged. I logged my claim on the 22nd of Oct with ***. On the same day a gentleman from Bay Breeze Trading came to asses the logged claim. He initially got told that he needed to asses a plumbing problem, I corrected him and showed him the carport that was leaking. He immediately made his assumption that the carport wasn't erected correctly by the company we utilized in 2020. I initially bonded my house with Standard Bank (looking back I should have just stayed with them or better yet, go back) and later moved to Absa. A lady from Absa came to asses the house and carport just after I signed up to make 100% sure that what Absa is insuring is on the property. She was happy at the time and the carport was erected already,, so why now that I need to claim there is a dispute? Absa Insurance Company deducts my premium monthly but when it comes to claiming they will decline without any notification. When were they going to contact me with feedback? Port Elizabeth has had continuous rain for the past 3 weeks. From a dry area where my cars and motorbikes were parked, to a carport that now leaks as if its been standing for 20 years without any maintenance done. BULL****!!! Absa Insurance Company is ****!!!
