Idirect you are being unfair and unreasonable

I am entirely unhappy with Idirect after so many years of being with them. I had car insurance with them and December and January,I missed premiums then today on the 10th of March, I called them trying to get them debit all the outstanding premiums and reinstate my policy as I wouldn't wish for a new one,and the 2 consultants told me it's not possible.. How does Reinstatement work,I didn't have a problem of paying all the other premiums.yet they say it's not possible,
