Funeral cover claims

When my late mother passed on 9th January 2021 we claimed the funeral cover for her burial, my father was the registered beneficiary the payment was supposed to be released and paid to his acoount but Absa made the payment to my late mother's account then requested we submit a letter of authority in order to receive the funeral cover. We forfeited those funds because we do not afford legal services. These clause where not in the funeral cover agreement. I was appalled by Absa's service.
