Disability payout not received

This is a complaint/query about ABSA Complex Life Insurance. Policy no. ***. I have a severe disability it is a condition known as Post Polio Syndrome (PPS). I am 69 years old this year and this condition was diagnosed in 2018. I had to leave a job with BASF that I loved and this condition unknown to me until it was first diagnosed and then it has continued to erode my way of life. I was a victim of the polio outbreak in 1958, I was a baby. 67 years later it has destroyed me and thousands of other victims of this condition. As a child I recovered to a certain extent and was always a happy and joyful person. I have had a good life I walked with braces and crutches. I used a wheelchair at home as it was faster and more convenient. I married a disabled man and when he became ill I looked after him as much as I could. He passed away in 2008 and we had no financial assistance from anyone other than me working fulltime to financially look after both my husband and me. I had a disability cover with ABSA which I only found out about I December 2024. I have been trying to get this disability cover from Absa ever since this happened. But to no avail. Instead Absa took R13000 odd thousand off my over due credit card and called it over with. I am broke and broken and Absa are not giving me my disability money which I think I am entitled to. My sister lives with me thank goodness as she helps me dress washes my hair and many other things I can now not do for myself. She also has several medical issues which limit her as well. However this is about my debilitating and incurable condition. Please Absa stop making excuses for not giving me a payout which would make my life so much easier. I have written to Absa several times regarding this matter.
