Claim payment not done over a month

I submitted a claim on the 12th of April, tomorrow will be one month and the claim has not been paid out.

The loss assessor has advised me that the claim has been approved and I am waiting for payment since last week even though I bank with Absa.

Last week Friday I was advised that payment was made and I would receive it by the end of Friday or latest Monday morning.

This morning no payment has reflected and I now get feedback that payment is awaiting the finance managers sign off before releasing funds.

How can I be infuriated payment was made last week and then this week I’m informed a different story. This is very poor service.
