I got hijacked on the 30th of July 2022. I reported the matter to ABSA Activate and they sent out tracker (capital C) and the car was recovered within 2 hours but it was involved in an accident. Opened a case on the 31th on a Sunday, On Monday the 1st of August I logged a CLAIM and the insurance only contacted me on the 9th August and asked for documents which I sent (this is after I followed up every day with no feedback). Andrew Styger is the Senior Consultant that my claim was assigned too. Andrew got all the documents on Tuesday the 9th and the service history report I got from Mercedes Wednesday morning . He advised that he was working on the claim and did not provide feedback until Monday the 15th he called me telling he is struggling to get Tracker report(This is a tracking device installed by them) and police report but I signed consent forms on the 9th of August giving him permission. He advised that he will call me back later that Monday and no call has been received. On the Tuesday the 16th I received a call from Warrant from the Police Station advising me that he got my contact from Andrew Styger from ABSA and looking for Tracker report. I then emailed Andrew to provide feedback on Tuesday and still no feedback today. Wednesday I called ABSA Activate and the claim consultant Tshepiso advised they are waiting for track report and she has escalated the issue to Andrew's Manager. I called again today and still they are waiting for the report. This report needs to come from their technical department. Nobody has contacted me. CLAIMB NO: *** Andrew advised that my claim will take up to 6 working days and it over 14 days and I am not getting any feedback or proper explanation on my claim. ANDREW STYGER is now ignoring my calls and emails.
