Cancelation of Insurance

I have been trying to cancel my car insurance for two weeks now, Last week I was told that they'll get back to me in 24hrs due to a high number of calls they're receiving till this day they have not gotten back to me. Monday morning I phoned again the consultant said he's putting me through I waited on the phone for 45 min afterwards they dropped the call this morning again the same thing happened.
