Beware idirect cares about cars involved in accidents than the safety and lives of their clients

A horrifying experience ever. Idirect insurance is useless, my family was stuck in the iddle of nowhere in the afternoon today, there was a reptile in the car n we noticed it while driving. I called them to humbly request for assistance n they Bluntly told me they can't help me, it's after 9 pm in a place we don't know and there is a baby with us and they cannot help because the car is not involved in an accident, I asked if we should drive again and then cause an accident so that they can then come n help us. They alternatively they got me towing service which I had to pay R2200 for 27km to my requested location. I just got home now, we had to make our own plans thanx to down town tow Services my family is safe and home at less than a R1000. What idirect did is inhuman u cannot let my family be exposed to danger because we did not have an accident, we almost had it we were fortunate that when the car lost control there was no traffic and my husband was able to control the car n stop. I didn't know that we had to be involved in an accident to get ur assistance.
