28 Aug 2026, 14:22The Kwikot technician came out but unfortunately they can put in the geyser because the tray is broken. Another day. I called Kwikot and will call again to find out if a technician is assigned for tomorrow to come with a tray and new geyser. Let me temind ABSA tomorrow is day no 3 with no warm water. Again remind ABSA my fight continues like a few year ago whereby technician did not do the right things and it cost be with a huge water bill. I was of mind that technician drive with all tools but because of a trya we have to wait for tomorrow

28 Aug 2026, 17:30Good Day Godfrey, I recieved no call seeing that its now 17:28 i can say i will go through the night with no warm water. Its very sad and again i am not suprise by the service. A few years ago I had the same fight with ABSA and poor workmanship whereby water was leaking underground and i was left with a bill.

01 Sept 2026, 09:57This morning, I was not happy with the person who came to inspect the ceiling damage.
The first questions he asked were how many bedrooms and bathrooms we have, whether we have an alarm, whether we have cameras, etc. I then took him through to the garage and showed him where the carport is.
My question is: what does any of this have to do with repairing or assessing the ceiling damage? I did not request a security inspection or a general property assessment. I requested an inspection specifically relating to the ceiling damage.
He also needs to measure the property, but there was very little focus on actually assessing and measuring the affected ceiling areas.
The property is currently undergoing some minor renovations and maintenance, including painting, changes to the IBR, and landscaping. Surely, by looking at the property, it is obvious that we are busy with various improvements.
I am concerned that the inspection may be going beyond the actual scope of the ceiling-damage claim. I would therefore like clarification on exactly what the purpose and scope of this inspection was and why all of these additional questions and measurements were required.
