APPROVED then REJECTED

I registered a claim for my vehicle late due to the situation the world is facing. Most of the financial institutions adjusted some policy schedule to accommodate desperate clients. I got the SMS at 17:39 (01/06/2020) saying that the claim is been finalized and authorized for repairs. I must take the car to Mokar Panelbeaters *** for repairs. I got excited until I got a call from Mr. Schalk (not sure about the name) that my claim is rejected. I called ABSA Idirect about the message, everybody say i must ignore the message and take that the claim is rejected. How can I ignore my feelings about something I pay religious to protect my assets. I don't expect ABSA to use policy schedule as an excuse in this situation and I explained to them what happened. And the their voice tones are not right. How can they don't know that they send me SMS. Do your investigation and tell me what happened. NOT JUST 'IGNORE'

Dear Nthabiseng Sibande,

I received an e-mailed from Ntladi Mthimunye telling me about the reasons of rejecting my claim. Yes, I do understand the reasons because are from policy schedule. I already explained myself what happened. Can we use this platform to teach potential clients about the unforeseeable situation? Why he/she use e-mail because I complained here. This is a new new thing and we can't say it won't happen again. Let the ombudsmen for short term loan/policy decide.

Regards,
