ANY REASON NOT TO PAY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

To whom it may concern, Please accept this letter as an official complaint concerning the repudiation of my claim and subsequent cancellation of my ABSA iDirect policy Claim No: ***3*001 Id No *** On the 31/03/2016 I Marcel Louw -***, had an incident whereby, I rode into a pole on my company premises. On the 01/04/2016 I called ABSA I-direct to lodge a claim for the above mentioned incident the claim was lodged and handed over to the claims consultant Maureen Mothogwane. The same day I was advised to take the vehicle in to Auto Magic Edenvale (148 Fleming Road, Meadowvale. Which I dually did, I was advised that the assessment would take approximately 7-10 days. On day 7 I contacted the claims department to find out how far the claims was, to which I was advised that there was a back log and I need to be patient. On day 10 I once again called the claims department. To find out how far ABSA I-direct was with my claim upon which I was able to speak to my claims advisor, who advised that she had not yet received to assessors report. I had then advised the claims advisor that I require feedback by 12:00 that day, which Maureen Mothogwane called back to advice that Auto Magic had requested more time. I received an email from Maureen Mothogwane at 3:05pm stating that she had referred the claim to her manager for finalization. On the 21/04/2016 I received a call for the claims agent stating that the claim was repudiated due to ”None Disclosure -not giving us true, correct and complete information about yourself and your property when you app**** for insurance” The reason for the non-disclosure was due to me not disclosing my mother’s household and all risk claims. I feel that this is unfair, how can my mother’s household and all risk claims affect my risk profile for my vehicle? Also I believe that it is unfair to expect me to know what claims my mother had lodged during a 3 year period. Also please note that I have requested on three different occasions that a supervisor/ Manger contact me which to this day no-one has. Also believe that this repudiation was effected due to me complaining about the service I received from the claims agent and the time she took to handle my claim. Subsequently I have made contact with Michelle (Claims Manager) who is reviewing the claim and has advised that they still believe that the repudiation should still stand however this will be given over to the claims form which will be held on the 06/05/2016. Furthermore they have also advised that they will be cancelling my policy and returning my premiums. Please note that with a cancellation on my name they will be making me uninsurable, which is truly unfair and prejudicing me I please note that I have already contacted the FAIS Ombud and they have advised that I lodge this complaint then hand it over to them.
