**** ALERT - ABSA ACTIVATE CAR INSURANCE

I have recently taken car insurance with ABSA, the contracted premium is R5900 but the amounted debited was R7400. My account only had R6000 to accommodate the premium and the debit order was unpaid.

Since the 20th, i have been trying to contact ABSA to rectify the matter and i have not succeeded They do not take calls, they do not respond to emails. The only division that take calls is the Sales, probably because they want to **** more people.

I have escalated the issue to their Complaints division and guess what? They are the same. No call back, just many reference numbers and empty promises.

What if i wanted to make a claim? Would i have to wait 2 full weeks to get a response? I remain in the dark whether i am covered or not covered.

This is really pathetic.
