ABSA-LUTELY ATROCIOUS INSURERS

I previously complained about the ********** service I received from ABSA for a period of nearly two decades. Sadly my bond is with ABSA so I am stuck with them .

They recently paid out for a thatch roof claim I did not want the money but they refused to appoint a company to carry out the repairs. Once I started phoning around for quotes, I found out why They paid me less than 50% of what thatching companies charge. So now I am forced to use someone off the street who won't provide any guarantee.

Then, after saying they would pay for carpet damage and damp caused by hole in the thatch, they rejected that aspect of the claim. I appealed. It's been over two weeks and they don't answer my emails.

As I've said before, it can only be a case of ****** because I see they have quite a high approval rating. Why would they treat most of their clients well but not me...repeatedly over nearly two decades?
