ABSA IS A HUGE ****!

If I could give a zero star I would. Beware of ABSA HOUSE INSURANCE. Judging by all the negative reviews, we should have known better! This company exploits the senior citizens. I logged a claim on behalf of my father and paid excess as requested, now they are refusing to pay for the remainder of the damages until they receive a letter of executorship. Despite me telling them there is no letter of executorship because the main policy holder is alive, they insist! They approved the claim and dispatched contractors to do the repairs which were left unfinished Now they are claiming that the claim was never approved and after part of the job is done, they now claim they never granted approval. Where does one get a letter of executorship for an estate of a surviving parent? Please help! Good people, please, if you care about your parents or elderly loved ones, stay away from ABSA insurance. Not only are they inefficient and useless, they are insensitive and have no compassion towards their clients who are senior citizens. This level of exploitation and poor service needs to go viral on all platforms. All these negative reviews are very real. BEWARE!

Please get back to me Mr. Marvellus Chauke, with the speed of lightening
And please do not come back to me with a blue lie like you did yesterday where you indirectly denied that the claim was ever approved- implying that it is your company procedure to send a provider to do an assessment and quote when damage is reported. The geyser was replaced, the ceiling repaired with floors remaining...a carpet installer was appointed by your company to install carpets, and when we said we prefer tiles instead, one of the consultants from your company ( Nonkululeko Mtimkulu) suggested a cash payout so we can get our own contractor to do the tiling. THIS SUGGESTION WAS FROM YOUR COMPANY! now her suggestion has backfired on us and you're coming up with stories . As if that's not enough, Nonkululeko had the audacity to tell me she was doing ubuntu, as if it's a favour and not a service paid for. Aren't you even bothered that you have such negative reviews from your clients? If you don't send a provider to complete the job that was left unfinished - we will take further steps . Ombudsman is our first next step.

I saw the email you are referring to.  I rep**** and gave you my mother's death certificate that you requested even though I'm not sure why you asked for it because my father, who is the main policy holder, is alive. You are persistently asking for a letter of executorship , I don't know if you are implying that my father is as good as dead?  or that you will only honour his claims the day he is deceased? After taking this matter to the ombudsman- we will make you famous. Stay camera ready, because you're about to become an instant celebrity. All these questions you are not not answering now, you will answer in front of cameras- for all South Africans to witness.
