ABSA INSURANCE THE BEST - DONT USE THEM

Good Day. I have previously complained about ABSA Insurance not wanting to pay for storm damages. Nothing has changed. I asked them to review and send me pictures (taken by them) that shows that my roof battens have collapsed which isnt the case They came back with the same response saying that that the damage was not of a sudden storm. This is really absurd. i asked them for a second opinion to justify their claim. So ABSA Insurance wants me to now prove that the roof battens are all in order. I must engage the services of a roofing specialist to give a report at my expense. Surely the responsibility lies with ABSA. I requested the Assessors Report (who is an unemployed building contractor by the way) and photos that they took. for their benefit.

They now want me to ladge a complaint to higher management which is unneccessary. the decision makers there are key board warriors who need to do an in loco inspection by a person thats qualified to make a proper report and assessment.

The above is one aspect that needs attention. my cupboards and ensuite doors cannot be used. the other aspect of my complaint was the unpaid monies for the June 2011 storm damage. they said nothing about that.

I am not prepared to do the Insurance companies work but I am prepared to get my lawyers involved with costs. ABSA Insurance is the worst that I have ever dealt with in my entire life. This has been their last response
