ABSA Insurance Limited Poor Service

We had a power surge during 14 and 15 April 2026 which damaged my fridge and my television. After claim they honored the claim for the fridge and television's report after checking by technician , indicated "component failure" (I saw with my own eyes when the technician opened the tv that some component were swollen and blew due to the power surge) and therefore ABSA refused to honor the claim for the television. I referred the matter to the Ombudsman (Case ref no. ***) whom then in return favored in Absa Insurance Limited's view and therefore my dispute failed to their misleading report .
