Absa Insurance - disappoints

It’s going on 3 months and still no resolution from Absa on my burst Geyser - It would seem, that the insurance cover Absa sells under insured your geyser - do you insure your car without the wheels? Well, solar geysers are insured for cylinders only, as it is considered an upgrade to replace your panels - It’s like not repairing the heating element in a normal geyser but insuring the casing - as such Absa can not replace my geyser and leave me in the same position as before - this is their promise and it’s not true- further they are quick to want to settle you in cash and everyone knows that at their discounted rates in the market, the ordinary citizen can’t facilitate such replacement - now logic would tell you that if the bank with all its contractors cannot leave you in the same position - how do they expect you to do it - It’s been 4 weeks since I asked to speak to a manager- still nothing - Absa - you are useless at service - ask your disappointed customers how to help you put your customers first - your clearly have no idea - stuck in systems and processes we care a less about -
