Absa Idirect Insurance force home insurance on customer

Absa idirect Insurance (Absa Insurance Company) have forced their home insurance on me when I purchased a property through ABSA.

I provided Absa idirect Insurance with proof that my property was covered for the amount that ABSA required and their bond attorney assured me that the system indicated that I had my own insurance on the property.

Yet, the home insurance was still implemented and it has been impossible to cancel. Call after call, email after email, all I get is another reference number and a promise that my query will be dealt with. But, still nothing...

The agents promise to address the matter but it is clear they don't know what to do other than sell you a policy.
