Absa Idirect Inspection delay , which means you’ll be partially covered
Title: Paying for insurance but not fully covered? Be careful
I took out insurance with Absa idirect and submitted my vehicle inspection photos on time. I was told validation would take 48 hours, but after more than 2 weeks there was still no feedback.
During that time, I was NOT fully comprehensively covered, yet I was still laid full premium. Imagine if something had happened to my car in that period would my claim have been rejected?
Because of this, I cancelled. The cancellation process took over an hour, which made the whole experience even worse.
Now I’m also not getting a full refund, even though the validation was never completed within the promised timeframe.
