ABSA Hone Insurance rejects claim after 16th November storms based on an inspection done 7 days after the fact by viewed photos from third-party.
ABSA Homeloans Insurance rejects claims citing poor house maintenance after the heavy rains storms on the 15 to 16th November. ABSA sent a Ceiling contractor to do inspection on damaged roofing, balcony walls and carpets, the inspect only arrived on site 7days after the fact now they claim damage was done over time.ABSA must send over thier qualified and accredited assessors to do on-site inspection than to rely on a desktop assessment done on double storey house without a drone or steppladder or a qualified contractor. ABSA want me to take liability of storm damages whereas they increased my annual premiums by 15%.
