ABSA Home loan Insurance in a mess

I am extremely disappointed with the service from ABSA Home Loan Insurance. After a burst water pipe claim resulted in a 4x3 meter section of my tarred driveway being destroyed, ABSA arranged for the pipe repair but failed to restore the driveway. Despite multiple follow-ups, I was offered a cash settlement of R3100 without consultation—an amount far below the quotes I obtained (R4500 and R5000). It has been over three weeks, and my driveway remains a mess, with no resolution in sight. ABSA’s lack of urgency, poor communication, and failure to resolve this issue are unacceptable. I urge potential clients to reconsider using ABSA Home Loan Insurance based on this poor service.
