ABSA Home Insurance cannot read their own forms.

I paid off my home loan and filled in the paper work to put it into safe keeping.

On the paper work, there is a block to fill in if you want to transfer the home insurance from the home loan account, to a personal account which i filled in.

Fast forward to today, leak in my roof, call for insurance assistance just to be told that they haven't gotten payment and therefore no insurance, when i send proof of paper work, they apologized saying they have a email backlog and will start a new policy as of today but wont cover the repairs even though it was their fault it was not activated.

IMAGINE IF MY HOME BURNT DOWN!!!
