Absa have an indiscriminate cap on car insurance, go elsewhere!

Been with this insurer for easily 15 years. Called today to inquire about insurance on a new vehicle / replacement. They have an indiscriminate cap on the value of vehicles they insure so I was refused cover. Given the price of cars today the cap seems FAR too low. I asked what my options were and I was told there are no options. So they just put me through to cancellations. No client lens whatsoever, just a simple “if you don’t like our policy” go somewhere else. Thanks … for nothing. As I’m typing this the cancellations department has cut me off. Typical.
