Absa doesn’t honour legit African client claims

Absa insurance makes its money from taking advantage of blacks & women. As a contractor I’ve seen how they reject legitimate claims & give clients the run around in the hopes they won’t take the matter further. There is currently a black female client that they have short changed in their “payout”,as a result they have been struggling to date from the insurances contractor who is not legally compliant to handle the particular work. I advised the client to go to the ombudsman which they did & Absa is stalling asking the ombudsman to give them more time whilst their client who is paying premiums is being prejudiced. I have yet to see the same behaviour displayed with the white male clientele. Of a few white males I’ve helped, they never even investigate or made them to jump hurdles like they do with the others. Everything gets sorted over the phone. Of all insurance providers I’ve dealt with, I can say the green insurance company is the most fair of them all, & they’ll go an extra mile to make sure a client is taken well care off! Absa *****s from those who are ******** of their rights to serve those who are previously advantaged.

You aren't responding to the the ombudsman! You have been asking for more time on that claim you have rejected. You should readily have the facts at your disposal if you didn't you gender & skin colour as the bases of your rejection. If you used facts, you would have facts to respond with & not a response asking for some time. I don't understand what time do you need. Are currently trying to fabricate facts? Or hope they won't pursue the issue & give up as many do?

Dear Customer Once the matter has been escalated to the Ombudsman, the bank is no longer allowed to engage with the customer. We request that the main customer follow up with the Ombudsman for Insurance.

What language can you best comprehend? I have never asked you to respond to the client or me directly. I have noted your failure to respond to the ombudsman as required & have questioned why do you need time to respond to the ombudsman if you rejected the claim on FACTS (which would be readily available at a click of a button) & not on discriminatory grounds as I alleged. I can reiterate all my responses in a language of your choosing if that will help you. I'm starting to think you have a huge backlog with the ombuds with your shady practices. If this wasn't the case you could have contacted whoever deals with the ombuds found the particular matter your person has asked time on & help them respond to the ombuds. but you are here typing dismissive replies showcasing incompetence or malice disguised as that.
