Absa BAD......BAD
On Friday 03/05/2024 my geyser burst. I tried to get hold of Absa over the weekend. just holding on and no response. (Monday morning) After many attempts try to phone Absa , I got hold to a operator. I already had a quote from local plumbers and submitted to Absa. Absa rep**** that out of the quote I need to pay R2500 and the access amount of R1000. My response to them was then Absa must get their own contractors, but it needs to be fixed on the same day (Monday). The contractors came the Tuesday and completed the work 13h45. At 16h00 I still have no hot water. I phone the contractors to found out what's going on and they rep**** they only installing the geyser and they not doing the electrical connections. I tried to get hold of Absa , no answer. Wednesday 8h45 I got hold of Absa and they rep**** that they will assign a electrical contractor and they will contact me in 2 hours’ time. At 11h30 no contractor contacts me. I phone Absa again at 1h30 and they said they assign a contractor to me now and he will phone me in 2 hours. It’s just a ongoing mess up and time consuming.

Best regards,
When I do the ID search, it comes up under the single profile with a bond account and a policy number and it also shows under the joint bond.
So, to have the correct investigation that is the reason 'why I ask for the correct policy number.
