ABSA Activate Insurance, Claim Rejected Unjustly

I recently lost both my phone and laptop, and submitted a claim with ABSA Activate Insurance. However, the experience was deeply frustrating, not least because the loss adjuster, Zaneeth, asked seemingly irrelevant and confusing questions, only to later reject my claim on vague grounds (that my information “did not align with their policies.

As a paying customer, I expected professional support, but instead felt dismissed and undervalued. There was no transparency, empathy, or effort to resolve the issue, only a rigid rebuttal that felt more like a scripted denial than a fair assessment.

From my experience, ABSA Activate comes across as an insurance service that prioritizes profit over support, with zero accountability during critical moments. I strongly caution others to think twice before relying on their insurance for real life claims.
