Absa Activate- Car Accident ***

On the 1st September I was involved in a car accident. I tried calling the insurance company and having to wait on the line for longer periods and when you finally get a chance to speak to a consultant they drop the call. Eventually It went through.

I gathered all the required information and called them again and, I was assisted by Refilwe who said she will be responsible for the claim process. She also promised to get back to me within 4 days as the assessors would have the report on the car damage by them. I waited and ended up writing a follow up email on 09 Septmber 2025. She never responded instead on the following day I received a call from Siyabonga saying that he is the one who will be taking care of the claim. I gave him all the information including documents same day. He said by 12 September the matter would be concluded and I was hopeful. I had to send him a text yesterday 17 Septmber 2025. His response was that he is finalising the report. He is saying he is trying to get hold of me but when I call the calls are not being picked up.

This is very frustrating paying insurance consistently without missing any payament but when now you need your insurance to show up they dragg their feet.
