ABSA Activate

Terrible terrible service , I don’t even know where to begin with the appalling customer service I have received from ABSA. So I got the insurance from the dealership I bought the car from and was not complaining about the premium they initially quoted me. I tried calling on numerous occasions and each time I was told they are experiencing high volume of calls. So I wrote on their app that I would like a quote on credit shortfall , did they not send me an updated schedule and increase my premium by +-R800. So on my debit order date they took their normal premium then 2 days later deducted the extra amount. I couldn’t get them on the phone, so I had to reverse my debit order and seek alternative insurance cause what do you mean I can’t speak to you guys when I need to. I finally managed to cancel my policy, got a cancellation letter and everything, but they still continued to debit my account. In a nutshell I’d advise people to steer far far away from this fly by night/money laundering establishment. Rather pay more and get peace of mind elsewhere.
