A comedy of errors...
Im even lazy to write out what would seem like a Sitcom script. It has just been comedy after comedy of errors from Absa iDirect and their appointed panelbeaters. Vehicle was in an accident on 8 August 2021, with which seemed like a write-off. Absa took about a month to give authorisation to FIX the car instead, a decision based on self-interest rather than interest of all parties involved. Anywho, the car is still being repaired as we speak amd neither Absa or the Panelbeaters know when the repairs will be complete.
Let me just repeat that last part, NEITHER Absa nor their Panelbeaters KNOW when the repairs will be complete. Where have you ever had such a thing!? An entire 3months with the car and you still can't give a provisional date of completion!??
I cannot stress enough how my work performance has suffered because of this mickey mouse event. I use my car for work purposes. Its a bakkie, that i go on tricky terrain with on construction sites, now i drive around in an Etios...can you imagine...
