Time wasters on online order collection

I placed an order online and i chose the option for it to be delivered at the local identity shop near to where i live. i am a new mom and do not have a nanny yet and as a result i asked my dad to fetch the order for me and i gave him the sms i received and the staff at the shop refused to give him my order, they told him that they only give the order to the person who ordered. Fine, 7 days later, i managed to get a chance to collect it myself and when i got to the shop i was told that the system is down andi cannot collect it. What a waste of time, when i asked when the system would be up i was told i should just come a check as the staff didn’t know either. i told the staff that that day was the only chance i got and how about they allow me to ask someone to collect my order another day since they now know me and i will give the person my ID and the staff said no, we won’t give the person your order, we only give the order to the person who ordered it. . what a time waster now i am not going to bother collecting it. i will just wait for the 14 days to pass so that i can get a refund. if i knew i’ll be disappointed like this i wouldn’t have bothered ordering online. ☹️
