Returning a dress

Today I tried returning my dress for reimbur*****t ur*****t in identity maponya mall. The reason for me to return my dress was basically that i've seen a beautiful dress in another shop so I decided to return the identity dress back so that I could get my money back to enable me to purchase the other dress. Basically what happen is that the cashier agree d to assist me, so she asked me to enter my details on the slip which they have given me the time I purchased the dress. She then called her manager for authorisation. They then had a small talk and after they decided not to give me my money back, insinuating that I made the dress DIRTY so they can't take it back. I explained to them that i've bought the dress like that and also I'm not returning it because it's dirty, it's that i've found something else. They were so RUDE and unapologetic and stated that they won't reimburse me. I was so upset and decided to contact their head office of which day took my details and assured me that they will investigate but it will take some days to come up with solution. Hence I decided to contact Hello Peter for my issue to get resolved ASAP. Because I need my money back. I thank you.

Hello evatonia,

Thank you for your post.

In line with our returns policy we will gladly return or exchange merchandise returned within 30 days from the date of purchase provided that the garment is in its original condition, the tags are still attached and valid proof of purchase is presented.

We have liaised with the manager of the store who informed us that the garment was assessed by him as well as the Area Manager. The return was declined as the garment is not in its original condition.

We believe that the Store Manager has contacted you to inform you of this and you have agreed to collect the garment from the store.

We acknowledge that you are not happy with this decision however trust that you will be able to perceive and accept our stance in this regard.

Kind regards,

Lynn
