Refusal to change a gift size

I recieved 2 tops as a gift and they did not fit me as they were small, however I went to 2 stores to change them to bigger sizes they refused to chage it without the slip, I asked the person who bought it for me to give me the slip but she had already thrown it away because she kew i was a size 26 however the the 26 is a little tight. now I am sitting with 2 tops worth R270 each and it does not fit me, i don't know what to do with it now. it's a lot of money to just throw away like that. I am a regular customer at identity and now I am disappointed, I will let every single person know about this on all social media that i can and I will stop supporting this useless good for nothing expensive store. they are only expensive for nothing, they charge you a rate and they cannot uphold it by provideing equal customer service.
