Pathetic

I went to truworths and identity in 2019 to pay accounts clear and close but only to find out its still open but clear without any owing balances.I went into the branches a to ask if they can please close my account as it reflects as active even though I have not used it since 2018.why is it so difficult to close my ****** accounts if I do not owe them anything.i need this sorted asap.
