No returns

Identity has a No return policy on items without sale slip even if the sale tag is still attached to the item, I receive an item of clothing has a gift, when I went to return it, the sales person refused saying it was their policy, and the manager Mr Theo Naidoo agreed to that policy, when I said I was going to call the head office to enquire, he became reluctant to even give me his surname and he refused to give me the sales person name, im not against protocol but who gives a gift with a sale slip anymore? There should be some notice up in the store or something done, now I have an item of clothes that’s over R200, doing nothing, what a waste of money and time.

Thank you for your post.

Whilst we acknowledge your frustration, our Returns Policy facilitates an exchange or a credit on an item(s) returned within 30 days from date of purchase provided that the original invoice or gift receipt is presented and all the requirements of our returns policy are met.

This policy is also displayed on the reverse side of our invoices. As you do not have the required proof of purchase, you were correctly informed in store that a return or exchange could not be authorized.

Our customers are important to us and we go to great lengths to ensure that the merchandise we sell meets our high standards and the latest fashion trends.

We regret that we are not able to assist you with this but should you have any other matter of concern, please contact us at *** or on 021- ***.

Kind regards,

Identity Online Team
