misleading sign boards/ false advertising
As i walked passed the identity store this morning I saw a sign board that said a further 25% off the marked price, I then got into the store picked a few items and proceeded to the teller to cash, in full knowledge that I would receive a further 25% off the marked price. As I cashed for the items and paid I looked at my till slip and enquired with the teller as to why I havent received my further 25% off she then said to me 'The further 25% ended yesterday'. I then enquired about the sign board outside saying 'FURTHER 25%' AND the teller said 'Someone didnt take the board out, they are not working today'.
This is unacceptable and **************** with no valid excuse. I am extremely upset.
I always purchase from Identity and I cannot understand how customers are treated in this manner.
False advertising and misleading your customers.
I deserve the further 25% as it is no FAULT of mine.

In line with our store procedures the posters in our window display are d***** and removed by only our skilled Window Dressers. On the day of your visit this was not done timeously which resulted in the display still reflecting by the time the store opened.
The Store Manager did not apply our procedure in this regard as he should have allowed you to purchase the selected merchandise at the sale price of up to 25% off.
We have sent you an email as the Store Manager would like to contact you and apologise for manner in which the situation was handled.
We trust that this matter will be successfully resolved during your communication with the Store Manager.
Kind regards,
Lynn
