Identity makes customers like fools...

I think the whole world should beware of this patetic service of identity.... I did an online application to get an account with identity....I was then called in and asked for my supporting documents which was my bank statement.... I then rep**** on email with my documents... not mentioning the name of the consultant...but she gave me a call after verifing my documents with her superior....I was then told congratulations your account as been approved and she then proceeded to tell me my credit limit and how I should go to store with my id and sign my contract....

I also received two sms that says followers

Congratulations EG RAJ, ur Identity account with free vouchers* is approved & u can spend R750 immediately. Go to any Identity store to sign ur pre-agreement & remember to bring ur ID. T&C's

3 days later I go into the store. Knowing my credit limit I also took things that I wanted to add onto my account and got to the counter... only to be told that my application is declined.

I was shocked and humilated standing in front of other customers. The store then put the call through to the specific department and I spoke to the most rudest person in the world who was not willing to help at all. Not even give me a call back when the person that approved my account is back at work. The next day I sent a email explaining what identity has put me through and then received a phone call from the consultant saying she really apologisesorry for what has happened..and don't worry there is a way to rectify it... which I don't think she understood what the woRd rectify means because she surely didn't do that.

She then asked me to give her some time to rectify it and she agreed to call the store to ask them to keep my things that I wanted to purchase.

After 2 days call's me back and says sorry mam the reply I received is your score as dropped so I can't give you the account.

Now 1 if they have common sense of knowing that scores change why wasn't I aware that I have to sign this contract on the same day as approved.

2. How did you approve my account and keep sending me congratulations messages everyday.

3. My credit report is due in the next 9 days so how exactly did my score drop in 3 days.

4. I got approved for a truworths account and sign and approved the same day that identity humilated me.

I have all my proof. I think that this company as no respect for clients and thinks fuel comes for free to just keep running around for them.

I will not stop here. I will like everybody to actually know what they do to customers and and what's they term of rectifing something.

They lead customers on and can't deliver...

Clearly they too compressed with whatever they are doing and don't need new customers.

I also wonder how many other clients have been made like fools.

Kind Regard Estelle Raj
