IDENTITY admin pathetic

Someone tried to open an account using my ID with Identity about two year's ago. I have emailed them numerous times as well as phoned them to let them know it is *****ulent activity. The application was rejected. I have not had accounts for 20 years and had a clean credit score until now. When I pointed this out to them, the comment was "it doesn't matter, the application was rejected". Seriously?! I've also requested they send a copy of the ID of the person who tried to open the account, as I want to lodge an ID theft case at SAPS. No response. I also advised them to stop sending communications to me, but to no avail - they email on a regular basis.
