False credit reporting and misrepresentation
I have no problems with neither the Identity brand nor the stores, but with the way they handle accounts. There is this thing they call temporary credit, it is given to you every so often, to help you buy from them. When you go into the store to see what you can but for, they give you a limit. They do not tell you that its a temporary credit and anything purchased will exceed you current credit limit. So you can accidently go over your limit. This is all good if you are not interested in watching your credit score. I had the shock of my life when I found that I was demerited 10 points on ClearScore when Identity updated my credit usage. This demerit was do to me exceeding my credit limit. I feel this is really uncalled for, and violates my rights. When I called customer service, their only answer was "It was temporary credit", and no resolution was given to solve my score loss. I'm posting this to warn others, don't always just assume that Identity has your best interests in mind, they are just interested in making money. Please be careful to check what your actual balance is, and what is actually available, as the amount you allowed to purchase for, will push you over the top and affect your credit score.
