False advertising

I was passed Identity when a jacket in the display caught my eyes. Jacket was being displayed for R525,00 and I went in as I wanted this jacket as it displayed being marked down from R1000. Enquired about the jacket and at the counter as the jacket is being rang up I am told by the store manager Marriete that I cannot get the jacket as it was accidentally displayed. This is considered false advertising as the item has been out on displayed in the main window and for all customers to see only for them to tell me I cannot get the jacket.
