Good day, <br> <br> A humble request to kindly assist. I received a call from Identity notifying me that I have to pay R830 before end of this month and I have been paying my account t alright now because this monthly debit was short of 300 so the interests jumped to R800 this is the first time I hear of such thing. It's a complete day light *******. In Jan I paid them more I exceeded my monthly debit now Feb it was less with R300 and I am expected to pay close to a R1000 where is that clause coming from. <br> <br> I will really appreciate your help in this regard. <br> <br> <br> Warm regards <br> Dineo <br> ***

Thank you for your post and for the opportunity to clarify this matter for you.
According to our records this account was short paid at the last payment made on 05 March 2016. As a result, the account is reflecting in arrears, and communication regarding the status of your account was sent to you. Additional interest was also charged.
We can confirm that the total amount due is purely as a result of the past due amount being added to the monthly instalment, and is not the interest charged to the account.
Be advised that your next instalment, of which you were informed, is due for payment by 03 April 2016.
