Bad customer service

I recently opened an account online and was approved. But when I visited the store to activate my card. I was told I couldn't use my green barcoded ID and should go and apply for a smartcard in order to to get the store card. This happened in 2 different stores. Attlyn mall in attradgeville as well as at Sammy marks square. If old I'd books are not allowed at their stores they should put it on their website so that consumers are alert before even taking up the energy to do an application for their accounts.
