Approval of non-existing Identity account application
I keep receiving an sms from Identity stating "Congratulations L*** E**! Ur Identity account with free vouchers* is approved & u have R4000 to spend pending an affordability check. Complete this process in store & remember to bring ur ID. T&C's". (1) I have never had an Identity account, nor will I ever apply for an account as I do not associate with the brand. (2) I never requested for an account to be opened on my behalf so how did the application come about? (3) How can a non-existing application be approved?
