account paid but not updated.
i have been receiving messages about my account that i'm in arrears, this happened even after i paid my account, i called identity to ask whats happening because i paid, then the consultant even told me what the paid amount is on the system, then i ask why am i still getting messages that my account is in arrears, she says oh no the system is not updated. but whose responsibility is that? identity or me? then she said i will put through to someone who will update this payment for you, i was put on hold for ****** 16 minutes without any help until i put the phone down. agh maan this disgusts me.
Thank you for your post and allowing us the opportunity to respond.
We have reviewed your account and can verify that it went into arrears when the payment due by 03 September 2018 was not received.
We acknowledge your frustration regarding communications about the status of your Identity account. However, when customers do not meet their payment commitments timeously, additional charges are incurred and the customer is contacted regarding the status of the account. This correspondence merely serves as a reminder of the importance of bringing your account up to date and that your credit worthiness is an asset.
We regret that you felt that our collections process was in any way offensive, and offer our apologies for any inconvenience caused, as it was certainly not our intention to cause you any unnecessary irritation.
We are however pleased to confirm that the total amount currently due on the account has in the meantime been settled, and you may now once again enjoy all the benefits of being an Identity account holder.
Kind regards,
Identity Online Team
