UNPROFFESSIONAL

I have been waiting 4 months to get my issue resolved. When i had it installed no one told me that i had to pay money over to the municipality - which in that case i would of never gotten the meter and giving myself a double exspense - which led to a few months later me getting a bill from the municipality of over R8000. My electricity was cut untill i could pay the R8000 to the municipality as well. Aparently the municipality advised me that Ideal Prepaid installed it *******ly. I have had no refund on the damn meter or even the last month money spent on this meter OR EVEN ANY FEEDBACK FROM IDEAL PRE PAID OF HOW THEY WERE GOING TO REFUND OR RESOLVE THIS MATTER. IT IS EXTREMELY FRUSTRATING AND UNPROFFESIONAL FROM THEM. THEY ARE BLATANTLY IGNORING ME HOPING THAT I WILL GO AWAY AND THAT THEY HAVE TO REFUND ME NOTHING AT ALL AFTER I HAVE GONE THROUGH SO MUCH **** WITH HAVING THEIR METER IN MY PLACE...

Reviewer Update

So when correspondence started I was told that they will refund me R300 for the meter unit as well as the money from the last month I had bought electricity from them.

Today i get told that i will not be refunded for anything.

This is unacceptable.

Dear ChantsDee,

We have thousands of clients on our database, we deal with hundreds of clients every single day, one of the first things our sales agents explain, is how our system works.

We also advise our clients that our meters are sub-meters and that they do NOT replace any municipal meters. The landlord / owner is ultimately still responsible to pay the municipality. Funds are collected on our side for electricity purchases and paid over to the landlord between the 01st and the 07th of each month, which you have received.

Therefore, we are unable to refund you for the meter. Please advise which last month of purchases you are referring too so i can investigate.

Kind Regards

Ideal Prepaid Management

Best regards,
