This is daylight *******. Being charged R4.20 per kilowatt and R50/800l water

I own two townhouses in complexes across the street from one another and for a while now, I have been concerned with the charges for electricity for property serviced by Ideal Prepaid so I conducted a test this month.

In the property where the meter is serviced by STS, I charged it with 2 counts of R1000 and I got 320 units out both times. That's 640 units for R2000 or R3.12/KW.

At the same time I also charged the meter serviced by Ideal Prepaid with 2 counts of R1000 and I only got 238 units out both times. That's 476 units for R2000 or R4.20/KW.

Why are two properties that are adjacent to each other receiving dramatically different amounts of units with Ideal Prepaid charging an additional R1.10/KW more than STS? 170 units is a big difference which indicates something is amiss with your pricing.

Even your prepaid water meters are expensive where you are charging R50 for 800 liters, so now I have to spend another R500 on water per month where as before your meters were installed, the shared charge from COJ was less than R100 per unit. Hopefully I wont be alone when I bring up this issue in the next AGM.
